Lab Technician

Starting Salary: £35,000 | Full Training Provided | 4 on / 4 off Continental Shifts

Looking for a long-term career with excellent prospects? We're recruiting several Lab Technicians to join an advanced manufacturing business that is investing heavily in its future following significant international investment and a major expansion of its UK operations.

\n

No previous laboratory experience is necessary. If you're dependable, have a strong eye for detail, enjoy hands-on work and are keen to develop new skills, full training will be provided.

\n

Whether your background is in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse operations, cleanrooms, laboratories or another technical environment, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

    Permanent 4 on / 4 off continental shift pattern

  • \n
  • \n

    2 x 12-hour day shifts followed by 2 x 12-hour night shifts

  • \n
  • \n

    Four consecutive rest days after each shift cycle

  • \n
  • \n

    The site is in a rural location, so your own transport is required

  • \n
  • \n

    You'll be working in a controlled cleanroom environment whilst wearing full PPE

  • \n
  • \n

    A positive approach and willingness to learn are essential

  • \n

About the Role\n

Working within a highly controlled manufacturing facility, you'll support the production of specialist high-precision components used in advanced technologies.

\n

Your day-to-day duties will include operating specialist manufacturing equipment, carrying out detailed inspections using microscopes, recording production information on computer systems and ensuring products meet strict quality standards.

\n

This is a structured role within a growing organisation where you'll receive comprehensive training, ongoing support and genuine opportunities to progress your career.

    Carry out manufacturing activities within a cleanroom environment

    Follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures

    Inspect products using microscopes and specialist inspection equipment

  • \n

    Operate precision manufacturing machinery

  • \n

    Input production information accurately onto internal systems

  • \n
  • \n

    Maintain high standards of quality, safety and cleanliness

  • \n
  • \n

    Work collaboratively to achieve production targets
