Basic Function: | Assist in coaching recruiting counseling mentoring and training an intercollegiate volleyball team. Reports to Head Volleyball Coach. |

Examples of Duties: | Duties/essential functions may include but not be limited to the following: Assist in coaching a volleyball team; utilize coaching and teaching methods to develop student-athletes skills and teamwork. Coordinate team travel and logistics. Assist in production and execution of program camps and clincs |

Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelors degree. One or more years of coaching and/or playing experience in collegiate volleyball. Must be able to travel and to work nontraditional hours including evenings and weekends. License/Certification: Not applicable. Knowledge Of: National Collegiate Athletics Association and Mid-American Conference rules and regulations * Skill In: Training or instructing student-athletes * Ability To: Analyze situations and develop solutions * Communicate clearly and effectively |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: | Typically requires balance strength flexibility and endurance sufficient to demonstrate teach and develop skills of student-athletes. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Must be able to work nontraditional hours including evenings and weekends. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building and off-campus frequently. |
