Sixth Form SEN Teacher – Specialist SEND School Wandsworth Full-Time September Start Permanent / Long-Term Are you an inspiring SEN Teacher who is passionate about preparing young people with additional needs for adulthood, employment and independent living? We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND school in Wandsworth for a dedicated Sixth Form SEN Teacher to join their exceptional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with post-16 learners, delivering a personalised curriculum that develops academic achievement, communication, life skills and employability. The Role As a Sixth Form SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students aged 16–19 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Support students with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech & Language needs and associated communication difficulties. Deliver a curriculum focused on functional skills, independence, employability, community participation and preparation for adulthood. Develop personalised learning programmes aligned to EHCP outcomes. Promote students' confidence, resilience and social development. Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external agencies.
