SEN Teacher

Location: Bristol
Contract: Full-time, long-term opportunities available
Start Date: September 2026

Every child deserves a teacher who sees their potential.

If you're an SEN Teacher who believes that progress looks different for every learner, this could be the role for you.

We're working with welcoming specialist schools and inclusive mainstream settings across Bristol looking for passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'll help you find a school where you can make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

  • Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs
  • Creating a safe, nurturing classroom where every pupil can thrive
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and families
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to support each learner
  • Celebrating every achievement, big or small

We'd love to hear from you if you

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, or a genuine passion for specialist education
  • Are patient, creative, and resilient
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
  • Believe that every child can succeed with the right support

Why join Protocol Education?
