Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our IT team based at our UK Head Office in Prescot Liverpool
Created due to team expansion and recent internal promotion this is a vital role at the heart of AHKs global strategy. Without accessible well-managed robust and performant data we simply cannot expand into new markets or continue delivering service excellence globally.
You will join a warm collaborative team with plenty going onfrom modernising legacy systems and rebuilds to AI integration. As a Senior you will play a hands-on role in DBA management driving platform improvements building capacity and ensuring our data is live robust and high-performing. Crucially following a successful pilot you will help accelerate our group-wide rollout of Microsoft Fabric.
Beyond the tech you will be a key mentor and coachsupporting everyone from our apprentices to our more experienced Data Engineers. If you are someone who naturally takes initiative asks the why and excels at translating complex technical ideas into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders wed love to hear from you.
