What does a great Finance Manager – Net Margin in Commercial FP&A do?
You will lead the team responsible for c.$700m of annual Cost of Revenue spend. Coordinating Net Margin reporting across the Business Partnering and Revenue teams. You will work closely with Corporate Finance, Commercial leaders, and Commercial Finance Business Partners to provide an overarching view of the business by understanding, analyzing and explaining current year numbers and any material variances to budget/forecasts. Undertaking longer term planning and scenario analysis to deliver in-depth understanding of business unit performance, operations, market, customers and risk. It is a changing commercial landscape with many variables – so lots to get involved with!
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the TDC FP&A Team, consisting of 4 direct reports (3 Senior Finance Analysts and one Intern). Responsible for global cost of revenue reporting.
- Coordinate net margin reporting across business partnering, revenue and cost of revenue teams
- Lead the monthly close process and the Budget / Forecast process.
- Working collaboratively with relevant teams to ensure financial results are accurate and booked in accordance with Travelport policies.
- Monitor and report budget, forecast and prior year variances and address any anomalies, providing detailed commentary.
- Ensure customer reporting accuracy at cost center level.
- Liaise with Corporate FP&A on current performance, forecasts and longer-term planning.
- Compilation, completion, and in-depth analysis of Budget Submission.
- Key stakeholder in planning system and process development.
- Support Strategic Projects on an ad-hoc basis.
