Job description

Site Supervisor

£45,000 - £50,000

Camborne

We do what we sayand we’re keen to hear from people like you who make it their business to get things done!

We have an opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team working with our South West Water client, supporting the delivery of clean water mains renewal projects. This is a key role on site, helping ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard while supporting teams and keeping projects moving.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys being out on site, working closely with crews and taking responsibility for day-to-day activities and performance.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…

  • Supervising day-to-day site operations across clean water mains renewal works
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health, safety and environmental legislation, including CDM and NRSWA requirements
  • Supporting and guiding site teams, promoting safe working practices and high standards
  • Identifying and addressing non-conformities, escalating where required
  • Coordinating labour, plant and materials to support efficient delivery of works
  • Assisting with planning and sequencing activities to keep programmes on track and minimise disruption
  • Overseeing temporary works on site and ensuring they are implemented safely
  • Supporting the management of variations and site changes
  • Maintaining clear communication with site teams, management and stakeholders
  • Encouraging continuous improvement and contributing ideas to improve delivery

We would love to hear from you if…

You have experience working within the water or utilities sector, with a good understanding of construction activities such as mains renewal, pipeline works or deep excavations. You’ll be confident supervising teams on site and ensuring work is carried out safely and to the required standards.

A NRSWA qualification and a full UK driving licence are essential for this role. Along with a strong awareness of health and safety practices and client specifications. Experience coordinating site activities, managing resources and supporting programme delivery will be important.

You’ll be organised, proactive and able to communicate effectively with both site teams and management, taking pride in maintaining high standards and helping deliver successful projects.
