Job description
We are seeking motivated Composite Laminators and Trimmers to join our expanding, high-performance manufacturing team in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for junior to skilled composite professionals who take pride in producing high-quality components to exacting standards. Job Title: Composite Laminator (Days) and Composite Trimmer (Nights) Location: Wellingborough Hours: Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 16:30 or Monday to Thursday – 16:00 to 02:00 Contract Type: Permanent The role involves manufacturing premium composite components, including laminating, vacuum bagging, mould preparation, autoclave operation, and quality inspections. Responsibilities also include trimming, fitting, bonding, repairing, and finishing advanced composite parts to support production across both day and night shifts. You will ensure all components are manufactured, assembled, and finished accurately while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout. Key Responsibilities – Laminator Role Manufacture composite laminated components following laminate schedules, technical drawings, and work instructions. Perform laminating, vacuum bagging, and mould preparation to a consistently high standard. Prepare, maintain, and repair moulds as required.
