\n Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a
Support Worker to join a housing-related support service working in partnership with the Probation Service. This rewarding role focuses on supporting vulnerable adults to develop independent living skills, sustain tenancies, and successfully move on to stable accommodation.\n
\n
\n You'll play a key role in empowering service users while ensuring properties remain safe, well-maintained, and compliant with Decent Homes Standards.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Deliver person-centred Support and Safety Plans tailored to individual needs.
\n - Provide a minimum of two hours of one-to-one support per service user each week.
\n - Motivate and empower service users to achieve personal goals and maintain independence.
\n - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the Resident Record Database.
\n - Identify, report, and manage incidents of anti-social behaviour.
\n - Carry out weekly property inspections, ensuring repairs, cleanliness, furnishings, and maintenance standards are met.
\n - Develop effective move-on plans, including accessing discretionary funding where appropriate.
\n - Support service users with daily living skills, budgeting, and domestic tasks.
\n - Work collaboratively with the Probation Service and other partner agencies.
\n - Maximise rental income through the timely completion of Housing Benefit documentation.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:\n
\n
\n
\n - At least 2 years' experience in a support work, housing, or tenancy sustainment role.
\n - An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).
\n - A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential), as regular travel between properties is required.
\n - Willingness to undergo additional vetting, including Prison Clearance.
\n - Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n - Experience maintaining accurate case records and support plans.
\n - A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
\n - The ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
\n
