Job Description

\n Our client is seeking a dedicated H&S Compliance Coordinator to drive their commitment to Health and Safety, Compliance in one of their leading divisions.\n\n\n\n\n Ultimately you will be responsible for bridging the gap between high-level governance and day-to-day operational safety.\n\n\n\n\n \n Location: Chessington\n \n \n Job Title: Compliance Coordinator \n
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000\n \n \n Location: Office based - Hybrid\n \n \n \n \n Key Responsibilities\n \n \n
    \n
  • Ensure continuous adherence to UK Health & Safety legislation. Manage Compliance and environmental impact reporting.
    • \n
  • Conduct regular internal audits to verify departmental compliance. Lead the preparation for critical internal and external audits.
    • \n
  • Manage the end-to-end Risk Assessment process and the maintenance of Health & Safety Plans and Method Statements. Lead post-incident investigations to identify root causes and preventative actions.
    • \n
  • Ensure organizational GDPR compliance and overall corporate governance.
    • \n
  • Oversee PPE management, asset control, and the management of Purchase Orders. Control Access and Work Permits for sites.
    • \n
  • Create detailed analytical reports for senior leadership. Provide direct administrative support to the Head of Department.

Skills & Qualifications

    \n
  • Degree or equivalent in Compliance or Health & Safety
    • \n
  • H&S knowledge, or certifications
    • \n
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards.
    • \n
  • Understanding of Sustainability, including Scope 1, 2 and 3.
    • \n
  • High attention to detail for audit trail management and the ability to influence safety culture across diverse teams.
    • \n
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
    • \n
