Transform Lives Through Inclusive Education

Location: London

Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available
Hours: Flexible Teaching Hours
Start Date: Immediate and Future Vacancies Available

About the Role

We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and inspiring SEND Lecturers to join our growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping learners develop the skills, confidence, independence, and qualifications needed to achieve their personal and professional goals.

As a SEND Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and inclusive learning programmes tailored to learners with a wide range of needs, including learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), physical disabilities, and complex learning needs.

You will play a key role in creating a supportive, accessible, and learner-centred environment, enabling students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality inclusive lessons.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs and EHCP outcomes.
  • Create engaging learning experiences that promote independence and confidence.
  • Monitor, assess, and track learner progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback and academic support.
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, parents/carers, and external professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to learner reviews and annual reviews where required.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times.
  • Support students in developing employability, life, and independent living skills.

About You

We are looking for professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learner support.

Essential Requirements

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience teaching, supporting, or working with learners with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive learning strategies and differentiated teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner wellbeing.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within Further Education, Specialist Education, or Alternative Provision.
  • Understanding of EHCPs and person-centred planning.
  • Experience supporting learners with autism, SEMH, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), or complex needs.
  • Subject specialism in Functional Skills, Employability, Life Skills, Vocational Studies, Creative Arts, or Supported Learning.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Access to employee wellbeing resources.
  • Opportunity to make a lasting impact on learners' lives.

Why Join Us?

This is more than a teaching role. It is an opportunity to empower learners, celebrate individual achievement, and contribute to an inclusive educational environment where every student is supported to reach their full potential.

If you are passionate about SEND education and committed to transforming lives through learning, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and help shape brighter futures for learners across London.
