Rate: £33.00 per hour PAYE / £44.23 per hour Umbrella\n
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment\n

\n Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join the Safeguarding & Mental Health Team at Wrexham County Borough Council.\n
\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Social Worker with experience in adult safeguarding and mental health services to join a supportive local authority team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for vulnerable adults.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Manage a caseload of adults requiring safeguarding and mental health interventions.
    • \n
  • Undertake assessments, reviews and support planning in line with statutory duties.
    • \n
  • Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments.
    • \n
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals, partner agencies and service providers.
    • \n
  • Support adults to achieve positive outcomes whilst promoting independence and wellbeing.
    • \n
  • Maintain accurate and timely case recordings and reports.
    • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Qualified Social Worker.
    • \n
  • Registered with Social Care Wales.
    • \n
  • Experience working within Adult Social Care.
    • \n
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
    • \n
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs.
    • \n
  • Strong assessment, communication and partnership-working skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload.
    • \n
Working Arrangements\n
    \n
  • Full-time office attendance required during induction.
    • \n
  • Following induction, a hybrid working arrangement is available, with 3 to 4 days per week in the office and 1 to 2 days working remotely, subject to suitability and service requirements.
    • \n
