Job description
Mechanical Supervisor – Data Centre Project Location: Camberley Rate: £(phone number removed) DOE (PAYE) Start Date: Approximately 6 Weeks Opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major data centre project. We are seeking candidates with previous experience working within mission-critical or data centre environments, supervising mechanical installation works and specialist HVAC systems. This is a long-term opportunity to join a high-performing project team delivering complex mechanical services within a fast-paced critical environment. The Role The Mechanical Supervisor will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of mechanical installation works on site, ensuring safety, quality and programme requirements are consistently achieved. Typical responsibilities will include: * Supervising mechanical subcontractors and direct labour. * Overseeing HVAC installation works. * Managing ductwork, pipework, chilled water and associated mechanical services. * Coordinating installation activities with electrical and construction teams. * Monitoring progress against programme. * Ensuring work is delivered safely and to specification. * Carrying out toolbox talks and site briefings. * Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation. * Managing quality inspections and snagging activities. * Supporting commissioning and ha...
