We’re looking for a Centre Worker to join us

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Nuneaton based Community Centres team, working flexibly from the CHESS Centre and Hatters Space Community Centre which is also the home of Warwickshire’s first Best Start Family Hub. The Community Centres and Family Hub provide an environment where children, young people, families and the wider community can access a range of services, support and activities. As a Centre Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring the centre is safe, welcoming and well presented, providing excellent customer service to everyone who visits and supporting the day to day operation of the valued community facility.

If you are energetic, enthusiastic and have a keen interest and commitment to working with the community along with having excellent communication and administrative skills then this could be the job for you.

The role of Centre Worker is instrumental in the successful running of the Community Centre. Based on reception the role is the first point of contact for visitors, telephone and email enquiries. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to navigate individuals to the appropriate services and support and respond dynamically in this public facing role. Preparation and coordination of services delivered on site including setting up tables and chairs as required.

Now is an exciting time to be part of our team as Warwickshire begins to embed our Families First teams who support the young people in our County. Our approach is about locality working, multi disciplinary and multi agency teams that support the whole family. Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.

If you want to build strong relationships and connections with families, join Warwickshire’s Children and Families service. Click here to find out more about Warwickshire County Council’s Children and Families Service.
