Job description
MULTI-TRADE VACANCIES - TILER & JOINER Carbon60 is recruiting experienced Tilers and Joiners to carry out planned and reactive maintenance work across residential and commercial properties in Belfast. Available Roles Tiler Pay: £14.42 per hour PAYE Contract: Temporary - 27th July to 31st December (potential extension) Joiner Pay: £15.39 per hour PAYE Contract: Temporary - 27th July to 31st December (potential extension) Location: Belfast, BT15 (Jennymount Industrial Park - travel across East & South Belfast) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Company Van: Provided for work-related travel Key Responsibilities Tiler Carry out wall and floor tiling repairs, maintenance, and installations. Prepare surfaces, measure, cut, fit, grout, and seal tiles. Repair and replace damaged tiles in residential and commercial properties. Complete maintenance records and deliver excellent customer service. Work safely in line with Health & Safety procedures. Joiner Carry out planned and reactive joinery maintenance. Install, repair, and maintain doors, frames, skirting, windows, cabinets, and timber fixtures. Measure, cut, and shape timber using hand and power tools. Read technical drawings and complete maintenance documentation. Ensure all work meets Health & Safety standards. Essential Requirements Tiler NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Wall & Floor Tiling or relevant trade. Valid CSCS Card. Proven tiling experience within construction, repairs, or maintenance. Strong knowledge of tiling materials, installation methods, and Health & Safety. Joiner NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry & Joinery. Previous experience as a Joiner/Carpenter. Strong knowledge of joinery repairs, installation, and maintenance. Ability to interpret technical drawings. Essential for Both Roles Full UK Driving Licence. Willingness to travel between sites (company van provided). Good communication skills and attention to detail. DBS check required (or willingness to undergo one).
