Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator

Breme Residential Care Home, 46 Providence Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire B61 8EF

£13.27 per hour

15.5 hours per week (3 shifts per week, 1 week day and then Saturday and Sunday each week)

Shaping a life well lived, every day

At the heart of great care is a life well lived, and we’d love for you to help shape it. As our Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents – creating experiences, events, and moments that matter. This is more than organising a programme; it’s about bringing thought, creativity and meaning to everyday life. From meaningful one-to-one moments to shared experiences, your work will help create a home that enriches lives every day.

We’re excited to welcome a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator to our team at Breme Residential Care Home in 46 Providence Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire B61 8EF. And with sector leading results showing our colleagues highly recommend Sanctuary Care as a great place to work, you’ll be joining a culture that supports you to thrive, grow, and be recognised for the difference you make.

We're proudly Investors in People Gold accredited and not-for-profit, which means every penny we make goes straight back into our people and our homes. Whether you’ve already found your calling or you’re still discovering it, we’ll support you every step of the way. From your first day to your dream role, we’ll help you

When you join Sanctuary Care, you’re joining an award-winning team where colleagues and residents truly matter. We’re proud winners of the 2025 Nursing Times Award for Care of Older People and the 2025 Care Home Awards Best for Training and Development, and Outstanding Larger Care Home Group.

Your role

  • Design and deliver meaningful experiences and events that reflect residents’ interests, preferences and lifestyles
  • Take the time to get to know every resident as an individual, supporting them to take part in experiences they enjoy and encouraging them to explore new opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and inclusive environment that shapes everyday life
  • Build connections within the home and beyond to help enhance the resident experience
  • Bring fresh ideas, creativity and a sense of curiosity to the role, elevating everyday experiences into something meaningful, social and engaging

(If you have experience as a Wellbeing Assistant, Activities Coordinator, or event planning and management, we’d love to hear from you).

Your skills

  • A caring, enthusiastic and kind approach with a genuine interest in older people
  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues
  • Good communication skills and a flexible approach to your work
  • Energy, creativity and confidence to engage others
  • A commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect

Your rewards

You deserve more than the basics. That’s why, alongside 28 days’ annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays), occupational sick pay linked to length of service, and a contributory pension, we’ve created a package to help you thrive:

  • CQC inspection bonus
  • Health and wellbeing support – including Aviva Digicare+ with virtual GP appointments, plus an Employee Assistance Programme offering medical, financial, and legal advice, as well as short-term counselling
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Parental leave arrangements and annual leave purchase scheme
  • Company-funded training and ongoing career development opportunities, including our Team Leader Development Programme
  • Flexible working options and an inclusive culture where everyone belongs, supported by our staff networks including PRISM, Disability, Race Equality and Parent networks
  • Free meals dependant on shift duration
  • Exclusive retail discounts, Cycle to Work, and salary sacrifice arrangements

Some rewards are subject to a qualifying period or other criteria – visit our website for more information.
