Summary: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate a portfolio of learning and development initiatives to promote payment solutions to financial institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of multiple learning programs and events across Europe.

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end program operations, daily execution, workflow coordination, stakeholder engagement, and program governance. You will proactively manage risks, dependencies, resources, and communications while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact, executive-level learning experiences.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee programme scope, objectives, and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with learning and development goals.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive programme plans, including timelines, milestones, and key deliverables for a range of learning initiatives such as workshops, conferences, and bespoke client training programmes.

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

  • Monitor programme performance through established KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Partner with stakeholders to support agenda design and content development, creating engaging and impactful learning experiences.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event delivery, including venue management, travel arrangements, accommodation logistics, and participant communications.

  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners through regular communications, status updates, and executive presentations.

  • Ensure adherence to governance standards, organisational policies, and programme management best practices.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams and stakeholders.

  • Maintain and manage programme documentation, including intake processes, sprint plans, roadmaps, decision registers, retrospective outputs, and other key programme artefacts.

Mandatory technical skills

  • Knowledge of the banking, payments, or financial services sector, along with an understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and applications, would be a strong advantage.

  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs.

  • Proven experience in event management ideally with a learning and development focus.

  • Expertise in program/project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or similar sprint-based frameworks).

  • Ability to drive strategic planning and execution aligned with business goals.

  • Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities.

  • Team player who enjoys collaborating across disciplines — data science, creative, engineering, and marketing.

  • Ability to work independently, drive actions to completion, and manage competing priorities.

Non-technical skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to run effective learning events, produce clear status reports, and escalate risks proactively.

If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
