Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anchor Group Services as a Mobilisation Manager on a fixed-term basis, supporting the successful mobilisation and stabilisation of new Security, Cleaning, and Facilities Management contracts across our London portfolio.

We're looking for an experienced Mobilisation Manager who is available for an immediate start and can take ownership of multiple contract mobilisations across London. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex transitions, and can bring structure, governance and operational excellence to contract start-ups.

As Mobilisation Manager, you will lead mobilisation activity from contract award through to operational delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, in line with contractual requirements and client expectations. Working closely with operational leaders, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring new contracts are established for long-term success while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service, compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end mobilisation of new Security, Cleaning, and Total FM contracts from contract award through to stabilised operational handover.
  • Support the stabilisation of newly mobilised contracts where additional operational support is required.
  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed mobilisation plans, ensuring all milestones, workstreams, risks, and dependencies are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between clients, operational teams, suppliers, recruitment functions, and senior stakeholders throughout mobilisation projects.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure sufficient resource is in place ahead of contract commencement.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and change impacts throughout mobilisation phases.
  • Ensure all mobilisation activity aligns with Anchor standards, contractual requirements, governance frameworks, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of communication and service delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Embed health & safety, compliance, and information security requirements into all mobilisation activities.
  • Monitor progress against agreed plans and provide regular reporting updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Support operational teams through transition periods to ensure a smooth and controlled handover into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or SIA Non-Front-Line Licence.
  • Proven experience delivering complex mobilisations, transitions, or large-scale change projects within Security, Cleaning, or Facilities Management.
  • Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, including leading cross-functional teams and operational workstreams.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, site compliance, risk assessments, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using workforce management and business systems such as Timegate, Zoho, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently within a hybrid environment, with flexibility to travel throughout London as required.

Qualifications (preferred but not essential):

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Level 3 or Level 4 Facilities Management qualification

Benefits

  • Expenses covered for business-related travel.
  • Laptop and mobile phone
  • 25 days holiday per annum + 8 bank holidays
  • Access to a range of nationally recognised courses to support career development via the Anchor Academy
  • Auto Enrolment Pension
  • Stream – access to pay as you earn it
  • Cycle to Work Scheme available
