As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll be the go-to for all things sales data, working in a close-knit finance team where your insights will directly influence decisions. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:\n
\n
    \n
  • Conducting detailed sales analysis, focusing on product sales performance
    • \n
  • Assist with month-end reporting and management accounts processes
    • \n
  • Prepare and post journals as appropriate
    • \n
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
    • \n
  • Preparing and maintaining monthly and annual sales reports
    • \n
  • Building and managing a single, reliable dataset to support reporting and analysis
    • \n
  • Developing and maintaining reporting tables within SAP and finance systems
    • \n
  • Ensuring sales data is accurately integrated into SAP for reporting purposes
    • \n
  • Analysing sales trends, performance metrics, and key business drivers
    • \n
  • Supporting stock and inventory reporting
    • \n
  • Producing regular reports on sales and stock
    • \n
  • Preparing data and reports for Finance Manager and Director, focusing on accuracy and insights
    • \n

\n What you will need:\n
\n
    \n
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, and data manipulation
    • \n
  • Proven experience in a similar role such as FP&A Analyst, Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant
    • \n
  • Experience handling large datasets and producing regular management reports
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
    • \n
  • Previous experience in financial and sales reporting, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
    • \n
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Pivot, and data modelling (DAX knowledge highly desirable)
    • \n
  • Part-qualified ACCA,CIMA, or similar qualification
    • \n
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to develop your career, with a genuine interest in data analytics and AI
    • \n
