Job description
We're looking for a hands-on Workshop & Service Manager to join a close-knit team. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Workshop/Service Manager or a Senior Engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership role. If you enjoy leading by example, solving technical challenges, improving processes, and developing people while remaining technically involved, we'd love to hear from you. This role is primarily based at our Barnsley workshop, so applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance. About the Role You'll take responsibility for supervising and supporting the clients workshop and field engineers while remaining actively involved in the installation, servicing and commissioning of their advanced electronic vehicle weighing systems. As a small, specialist business, our client provides HGV complete end-to-end solutions incorporating sophisticated hardware and software. Their products are highly technical, so a willingness to learn and undertake ongoing training is essential. You'll play an important role in driving productivity, maintaining high standards of workmanship, supporting engineers with technical challenges, and helping to develop and improve our service processes as the business continues to grow.
