Job Title – Estimator

Location – Manchester

What you will be doing:

An opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join the team at Galliford Try.

You will work on multiple projects across the Northwest working out of the Manchester office.

What you will be doing:

  • Cost Planning and Analytical/ st Principles Estimating
  • Measuring and taking off quantities from drawings – electronic and paper
  • Preparing bill of quantity / pricing documentation
  • Preparing and sending out sub-contract and materials enquiries
  • Specification analysis & review
  • Reviewing enquiry returns / checking compliance
  • Compilation of pricing elements to form tender sum
  • Preparing tenders for adjudication / settlement meetings
  • Commercial review of opportunities and tender documents
  • Commercial and Financial analysis of Risk & Opportunity
  • Development of Supply Chain & Supplier relations to assist in optimising commercial position
