You will be joining The Bauer Commercial Data team which is a multi-disciplinary group spanning insight, analytics, strategy, and engineering. We work collaboratively with revenue operations, sales, data engineering, and content teams to deliver data-driven solutions that support Bauer’s commercial objectives.
The Difference you will make
As The Commercial Data Manager, you will be leading the day-to-day operation of the UK Commercial Data team helping to deliver operational excellence and support commercial growth for audioXi and Illuminate. You will oversee supplier and stakeholder management, coordinating issue resolution, prioritisation and task delegation while making independent decisions on operational and team management matters, in consultation with the Head of Commercial Data and senior leaders.
Your role
- Line manage and develop the Commercial Data team across Strategy and Enablement.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and champion personal growth through structured development planning.
- Lead tactical UK commercial data projects and oversee supplier and stakeholder management.
- Act as escalation point for commercial data queries, present data propositions and communicate commercial value.
- Test and implement group commercial data tools locally, ensuring adoption, feedback to central teams, and continuous process refinement.
- Exercise sound judgement in daily management in consultation with senior leaders.
The Skills you will bring
- Experience managing and developing data or operations teams.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising technologies and commercial data tools.
- Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships,
- Experience coordinating data based projects and implement new tools and processes.
- Excellent People management, operational delivery and commercial acumen.
Working Pattern/Location
This is fulltime role, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with flexible working hours. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London (5 minutes walk from Euston Station)
