Job description
At GardX, we are at the forefront of providing cutting‑edge products, insurance, and digital solutions to car dealerships and OEMs across the world. Our commitment to excellence and deep understanding of the automotive sector have positioned us as a market leader. We’re launching a new project and new team that will be embedded into an established 20‑year business handling claims and customer service. Your Role You will be responsible for investigating and assessing claims on our product range to determine the extent of liability, negotiate fair settlements, detect fraud, and use industry knowledge to work toward a fair resolution. This includes collecting evidence, inspecting damage, interviewing parties, and collaborating with insurers and claimants. Key Accountabilities * Carrying out investigations and gathering evidence * Assessing claims and determining liabilities * Negotiating settlements * Making recommendations to insurers * Liaising with claimants, clients and third parties * Adhering to claim procedures and service levels * Maintaining system case records * Assisting with data analysis and reporting * Identifying customer vulnerabilities and acting accordingly * Maintaining positive internal and external relationships Skills Required * Ability to interpret and communicate product terms and conditions * Ability to deliver outcomes to consumers constructively * Strong investigative abilities * Negotiation skills with third parties * Proactive, problem‑solving approach and positive attitude Preferred Experience * Experienced motor‑related claims handling * Background in a customer‑service environment * Experience operating within a regulated framework * Experience working in a results‑driven team Compensation and Benefits * Training & Personal Development * Competitive Benchmarked Salary * Healthcare & Well‑being Support * State‑of‑the‑art Offices * Up to 28 days Holiday (plus Bank Holidays) * Birthday off * Company Pension Scheme * On‑Site Personal Trainer * On‑Site Gym * EAP System Holidays increase with length of service.
