Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a well-established client based in Warrington.
Job RoleSafely moving trailers and vehicles around the yard.
Coupling and uncoupling trailers.
Positioning vehicles at loading bays.
Carrying out basic vehicle checks.
Ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.
Following site safety rules and procedures at all times.
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold a valid UK driving licence C+E.
Have previous shunter or yard experience (preferred).
Be confident manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard environment.
Have a good understanding of health & safety.
Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
