About the role Are you a Senior Multi-skilled Plumber who takes pride in installing high-quality, reliable plumbing systems? Join our growing modular building manufacturing and installation team, where you will bring vital utilities to life. In this role, you will install, test, and maintain kitchens, toilets, washroom facilities, hot and cold-water services, and waste systems. Beyond core plumbing, your expertise will focus on installing and commissioning sustainable climate solutions, including heat pumps and air conditioning systems within our modern modular and portable buildings.
You will work within our advanced manufacturing facility and support installation projects on customer sites throughout the UK. Key Responsibilities• Install & fit out: set up complete plumbing systems within modular buildings, including hot and cold-water services, waste pipework, and sanitaryware. Install kitchens, sinks, toilets, wash basins, showers, water heaters, and all associated fixtures.
• HVAC systems: Install, route, and commission heat pumps and Air Conditioning (AC) systems within modular structures, ensuring optimal system integration and performance.
• Technical accuracy: read and confidently interpret plumbing drawings, technical specifications, and installation layouts to ensure precise setups.
• Test & inspect: pressure test, commission, and inspect plumbing systems. Ensure all installations strictly comply with current UK Building Regulations, Water Regulations, and British Standards at every stage of the build.
• Maintain & repair: carry out plumbing and HVAC modifications, maintenance, and repairs both in our manufacturing factory and on customer sites across the UK.
• Records & reporting: maintain accurate records of completed work and report any installation issues or defects.
• Tools & equipment care: ensure all tools, plant, and equipment are maintained, inspected, and stored correctly.
• Quality of work: aim for a "right first time" standard to minimise snagging, defects, and call-backs, while keeping accurate records of your completed work.
• Collaborate & support: work closely with supervisors and colleagues to hit production schedules and meet crucial customer deadlines. Lend a hand to other trades during manufacturing or installation when needed and undertake other reasonable tasks to support the team.
• Safety & housekeeping: work safely in line with Company Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems. This includes maintaining excellent housekeeping standards in the workshop and on sites, looking after your tools, participating in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and immediately reporting hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions.
Requirements
Essential Requirements • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
• Valid CSCS Card (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in plumbing installations
• Experience installing plumbing systems within commercial, industrial or modular buildings
• Experience installing heat pumps and Air Conditioning (AC) systems
• Experience fitting kitchens, toilets, washrooms and associated sanitaryware
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications
• Good knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and installation standards
• Willingness to travel and work on customer sites throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays
• Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience• Tiling experience to lay tiles in kitchens, toilets
• Experience within modular construction or off-site manufacturing
• BPEC or LCL Awards Level 3
• F-Gas Certification (Category 1 or 2)
• Water Regulations Certificate
• IPAF and/or PASMA certification
• First Aid at Work qualification
• Basic carpentry or multi-trade experience
