About the Role
As a Functional Consultant, you will provide full life-cycle deployment expertise to our customers from gathering requirements, configuring Workday VNDLY, and testing various modules to align with their business requirements.
The key to be successful is to problem solve, think on your feet, advise customers of their options and be a trusted resource. Once you learn Workday VNDLY, the word "consultant" really becomes the key to this role.
As part of this role you will
Understand customer business requirements and demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems and support the testing phase.
Love to problem solve and ‘think’ through various requirements and how you would configure the software to meet those customer needs
Work with technical consultants to ensure seamless touch points throughout project
Participate in updates to training and best practices to share across the team
Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them informed of overall project status
Mentor less experienced consultants and embody team player mindset
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of functional experience in Vendor Management Software (VMS) solutions or systems including Workday VNDLY
Experience in Contingent Labor, Staffing, or Recruiting
5+ years deploying ATS or other HR related solutions or systems
5+ years Consulting experience
Other Qualifications
2+ years experience implementing Workday VNDLY, SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar applications
Passion for customer service and project management
Team Player and able to demonstrate this trait
Potential travel up for 25%
Fluency in German or French preferred
Flexible work schedule - This role supports global projects which will require attending calls early morning or early evening to account for timezones.
