Physics Teacher - Secondary School - York Are you an inspiring Physics Teacher looking to join a secondary school where curiosity, innovation and scientific excellence are encouraged every day? Physics Teacher Role Teaching Physics to KS3, KS4 and KS5 York MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-Time or Part-Time Physics Teacher A successful secondary school in York is looking to appoint a dedicated Physics Teacher to join its ambitious Science faculty from September. This is an exciting opportunity to teach within a department that places practical investigation and conceptual understanding at the centre of learning. The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 before specialising in Physics at GCSE and A-Level. Students study topics including forces, electricity, waves, energy, particle physics and astrophysics through engaging practical experiments and enquiry-based learning that encourages scientific thinking and problem-solving. The Science department is exceptionally well resourced, benefiting from modern laboratories, dedicated technician support and specialist equipment that enables teachers to deliver exciting practical lessons. Staff collaborate closely to share resources, analyse progress data and continuously refine the curriculum to maximise student achievement.
