Press Toolmaker/Miller | Beer, Devon| Permanent | £36k - £42k
\n\nAre you an experienced Press Toolmaker or Mould Toolmaker looking for a role where your skills are genuinely valued? Have the opportunity to work within a highly skilled Toolroom environment?
\n\nToolmakers, mould and press, duties would include, milling, grinding, turning, use of CNC mills, wire erosion experience beneficial but not essential.
\n\nRole Responsibilities:
\n* Manufacture, assemble, maintain and repair
\npress tools and mould tools to a high standard.
\n* Carry out precision fitting, bench work and tool assembly activities.
\n* Diagnose tooling issues and carry out repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance.
\n* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
\n* Use manual mill machining equipment, including milling machines, lathes and grinders, where required.
\n* Support production teams by ensuring tooling remains reliable and fit for purpose.
\n* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to maximise tool performance and minimise downtime.
\n* Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping within the Toolroom.
\n\nThe Person:
\n* Proven experience as a Press Toolmaker, Mould Toolmaker or Toolmaker within a manufacturing environment.
\n* Strong understanding of tool manufacture, maintenance, repair and fault finding.
\n* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
\n* Experience using manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes and surface grinders.
\n* This position is based in Beer, Devon. Candidates applying from outside the local area must be willing to relocate to the Beer area if successful in securing the position.
