Senior Estimator / Office Manager - Witham
Job Title: Senior Estimator / Office Manager Location: Witham Essex Hours: Full-time
About the Role An established manufacturer of bespoke aluminium windows and doors is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Office Manager.
This hands-on role combines technical estimating with the day-to-day coordination of the office and its workload. The successful candidate will prepare and check quotations oversee order processing and provide guidance to a small team.
Working closely with customers suppliers technical and production teams they will ensure quotations and orders are accurate commercially sound and completed on time.
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate quotations for aluminium windows doors and glazing products.
Review drawings specifications and customer requirements.
Calculate material glass hardware and manufacturing costs.
Obtain supplier prices and check quotations prepared by colleagues.
Oversee enquiries and orders from initial quotation through to production.
Coordinate office workloads and prioritise work effectively.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the office team.
Liaise with customers suppliers technical and production departments.
Identify technical or commercial issues before orders reach manufacture.
Improve estimating and order-processing accuracy efficiency and turnaround times.
Maintain high standards of customer service and communication.
Candidate Requirements Estimating experience within aluminium windows doors or glazing.
Ability to interpret drawings specifications and technical information.
Experience preparing quotations and processing orders.
Some experience supervising coordinating or heading a team.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and customer-service skills.
Confidence using IT and business-management systems.
Advantageous: Experience using LogiKal or similar fenestration estimating software.
