Position: Maths Teacher Location: Gloucester Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Maths Teacher Role in an Independent Day School An established Independent Day School in Gloucester is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students’ mathematical understanding, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Students follow an ambitious curriculum covering algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, calculus, and advanced mathematical concepts. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations while encouraging independent thinking, resilience, and confidence when approaching complex problems. You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through maths clubs, competitions, enrichment activities, and extension programmes that allow students to explore mathematics beyond the classroom.
