Job Description:
What does a Bank Support Worker do?:
Bank Support Workers must provide the highest standard of support at all times, meeting the needs of people we support as recorded in their care plan.
As a Bank Support Worker you would have a varied role, supporting individuals with a range of disabilities.
You would be responsible for:
- Encouraging independence
- Supporting people to participate in hobbies, activities and the community
- Supporting people to manage their health needs and liaising with health professionals.
- Supporting people to manage their own homes.
- Developing the life skills of the people we support
- Assisting with personal finances
- Support with personal hygiene
- Supporting with medication
- Providing advice and problem solving when required.
Requirements:
One year of health and social care experience in the UK is mandatory.
Hours:
Hours will vary, and Bank employees work on a zero hour basis.
We are looking for full time and part time candidates at present.
Flexibility is advantageous!
Location:
We currently work in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Northumberland, with vacancies across these locations.
