Job description
Your new company Are you a litigation lawyer looking for the opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload within a progressive and purpose-driven organisation? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established in-house legal team where you will play a key role in delivering commercially focused legal advice, managing complex litigation matters, and supporting strategic business objectives. Our client is a large, regulated organisation with a strong reputation for delivering essential services and maintaining high standards of governance, compliance, and customer outcomes. The legal team plays a critical role in supporting the organisation's strategic and operational objectives, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of matters. Your new role As a litigation lawyer, you will report in to the General Counsel and provide legal advice and support across a diverse range of contentious matters. A significant focus of the role will be managing and supervising customer debt recovery litigation and enforcement activity while also supporting wider civil litigation work. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and supervising debt recovery litigation and enforcement matters. Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice on contentious and occasional non-contentious matters. Attending court where appropriate and working alongside external counsel.
