Job description

A group of five welcoming primary schools across East London is looking to appoint a Cluster HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead the HR function across multiple schools, working closely with senior leaders to support staff, drive best practice, and contribute to the continued success of the schools. Collaboration sits at the heart of the schools, with leaders working closely together to share best practice and continually improve outcomes for pupils and employees alike. The successful candidate will become a key member of this leadership network, helping to shape people strategy across the cluster. The Role The Cluster HR Manager will lead the HR function across five schools, providing both strategic and operational support. Responsibilities include: Leading employee relations and case management Managing recruitment and onboarding Ensuring HR compliance and safeguarding procedures Advising senior leaders on employment legislation Supporting payroll processes Developing and implementing HR policies Promoting staff wellbeing and professional development The Successful Candidate The schools are looking for an experienced HR professional with excellent employment law knowledge and previous leadership experience. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build positive relationships across multiple sites will be essential.
