We're looking for a *Senior Retail Chef de Partie* to join our team in *Ashurst.* *Salary : * 35,200 per annum *Location : * SE25 5EW *Shift Pattern : * Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week *Key Responsibilities : * * Prepare and deliver high-quality fresh food for a busy retail operation, serving approximately 450 covers per day. * Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained. * Take ownership of a designated section, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and served efficiently during busy service periods. * Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimising food waste to achieve cost targets. * Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards, ensuring all due diligence records are completed accurately. * Train and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous development within the kitchen team. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer satisfaction. * Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills to meet service demands and deadlines. * Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials while maintaining retail food trends and customer expectations. * Bring previous Chef de Partie experience, a passion for cooking and learning, strong food preparation knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a positive team-focused approach. *What's in it for you? * Working with Vacherin has its perks!
