About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary PPA Cover Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality learning across a range of year groups while providing valuable Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) cover.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of classes, inspire pupils through engaging lessons, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, following the school's curriculum and planning.
• Provide high-quality PPA cover, ensuring continuity of learning across different classes and year groups.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Assess pupils' understanding during lessons and provide clear feedback to support their ongoing progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents, contributing to the wider school community.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition between classes and consistency in learning.
• Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of pupils at all times.

Requirements

• Passionate about delivering high-quality primary education across a range of year groups.
• A confident and adaptable classroom practitioner with the ability to teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Experienced in delivering engaging lessons that promote excellent pupil progress and achievement.
• Able to establish positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Flexible, organised, and confident in managing different classroom environments.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, behaviour, and professionalism.
• Dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported to succeed.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
