£30,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Your role will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools.
• Inspiring students to develop confidence in reading, writing, speaking and communication through creative and engaging lessons.
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations by delivering high-quality teaching that supports progress and attainment.
• Assessing, marking and monitoring student work, providing constructive feedback to help pupils reach their full potential.
• Adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion, creativity and a love of literature.
• Working collaboratively with the wider English department to share ideas, resources and best practice.
• Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues to support academic achievement and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
