Are you a practicing artist designer or creative professional eager to share your expertise in the classroom The School of Creative Arts and Fashion at The City of Liverpool College is seeking a passionate Art and Design Lecturer to inspire the next generation of creative practitioners.
As an Art and Design Lecturer your knowledge of contemporary art design processes creative experimentation and professional practice will be invaluable. You will play a key role in developing students creative skills critical thinking and understanding of the creative industries. Your responsibilities will include planning preparing and delivering high-quality lessons alongside assessing tracking and recording student progress to ensure an engaging and effective learning experience.
Our School of Creative Arts and Fashion offers a broad range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 3 across Art and Design Fine Art Fashion Photography Graphic Design and Creative Industries. Students benefit from access to specialist studios workshops digital facilities and opportunities to engage with industry professionals and creative organisations.

Key Responsibilities
As an approved Bank Lecturer with The City of Liverpool College there may be a range of teaching opportunities available throughout the academic year. These can vary from occasional or infrequent teaching hours to regular weekly commitments including substantial teaching allocations across one or more days per some instances bank appointments may also lead to fixed-term opportunities for the duration of an academic year or progression into more permanent teaching roles subject to curriculum need student enrolment numbers and performance.
Bank appointments are designed to provide flexibility for both the College and applicants enabling us to respond effectively to fluctuations in student recruitment and curriculum demand whilst providing opportunities for experienced industry professionals and educators to join our teaching community.
