History Teacher - Secondary School - Cornwall Are you a knowledgeable and passionate History Teacher looking to inspire students through engaging lessons that bring historical events, people and cultures to life? History Teacher Role Teaching History to KS3, KS4 and KS5 Cornwall MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-Time, Permanent History Teacher A successful secondary school in Cornwall is looking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher to join its well-established Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach within a department that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and a genuine appreciation of history. The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level History. Lessons encourage students to analyse historical evidence, evaluate differing interpretations and develop well-reasoned arguments while studying a broad range of British, European and world history topics. The Humanities department enjoys a collaborative culture where teachers regularly share ideas, develop exciting curriculum resources and organise enrichment opportunities including museum visits, guest speakers and historical workshops. Students are encouraged to explore history beyond the classroom, developing both academic knowledge and wider cultural understanding. Teachers benefit from high-quality professional development, subject-specific CPD and excellent mentoring.
