About the Role At SURI, digital advertising is central to our growth. It’s the first point of discovery for millions of our future customers, and a core part of how they learn about SURI and our award-winning products. We strive to create advertising that cuts through the clutter, not through clickbait or gimmicks, but through narratives that pique curiosity and tell our story engagingly. We want people to enjoy our ads, feel like they’ve learnt or questioned something, and be motivated to make a change. Primarily focussed on social media advertising, you’ll work across everything from longer form storytelling creative, to powerful static advertising, and everything in between. You’ll report into a Senior Copywriter and work closely with a best-in-class Growth Team who will develop your skills in data-led creative analysis, platform strategy, and creative testing. A typical week looks like mining customer insights worth building on, running concept sessions, writing scripts, briefing mini shoots, sitting in editing feedback loops, and pulling performance data to decide what we need next. What You’ll Do * Produce high-volume ad copy — write and iterate on 600+ Meta ads per month, spanning static, video, and carousel formats * Support campaign execution — work within creative frameworks set by the Senior Creative Strategist to deliver consistent, on-brand output * Assist with ad sequencing and creative feedback — contribute to editing direction and clip selection under senior guidance * Analyse performance data — review ad performance metrics and feed learnings back into creative iteration * Collaborate with the performance team — work closely with channel managers to understand what’s working and why * Grow into strategy — take on increasing creative strategy responsibility as you develop platform expertise Qualifications * 2–3 years of copywriting experience, ideally from a full-service or creative agency * A strong portfolio demonstrating creative range and copy craft * Hungry to learn — we’ll train you on Meta platform knowledge, performance marketing, and data analysis (we’ve done it in under a month before) * Comfortable with volume and iteration — this role moves fast * Collaborative and coachable — you’ll be working closely with a senior creative and a wider performance team * An interest in DTC and consumer brands Benefits * 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and an additional day for your birthday * Flexible working hours * Hybrid working - up to 2 days working from home each week * Bupa Healthcare and Dental Packages * Income Protection and Life Assurance * 1 Charity Day per year * Central London offices- based in London Bridge; a stone’s throw from Borough Market * 4x “Work from Anywhere” weeks, with no requirement to be in the office those weeks * Access to our Employee Assistance Programme, which grants free therapy and coaching sessions to all staff * Monthly social events, organised by different team members * 5x free toothbrushes every year * £1000 personal development budget each year, per employee * Fantastic career opportunities; with the chance to grow as SURI does * Summer Fridays; 2pm finish across Fridays in July and August * Fresh fruit and snack orders every week * Cycle to Work scheme, and Electric Bike Cycle to Work scheme * Regular product swaps with other fantastic companies At SURI, we value diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
