Speciality Lead – Cardiac, Urology & * LaparoscopicServe as the named clinical lead for Cardiac, Urological, and Laparoscopic services; maintain and develop speciality-specific instrument sets, implant inventories, and equipment r * equirements.Liaise with surgeons, suppliers, and representatives to ensure correct implant systems, specialist equipment, and laparoscopic stack configurations are available fo * r each list.Lead scrub competency development and training for junior staff and students; contribute to service development and quality improvement within assigned s pecialities. Leadership &am * p; ManagementSupervise and lead the scrub team day-to-day; support the Theatre Manager with staff deployment, rostering, and annual leave; deputise in t * heir absence.Mentor junior practitioners, student ODPs, student nurses, and theatre support workers; contribute to appraisals and individual le * arning plans.Induct new staff and visiting clinicians to emergency equipment, scrub protocols, and operational procedures; model Welbeck values at all times. Operational & * amp; EquipmentMaintain scrub equipment, laparoscopic stacks, and specialist instrument sets; manage stock, raise orders, and coordinate planned preventativ * e maintenance.Monitor usage and flag stock issues to the Theatre Manager; contribute to equipment replacement and capital plannin g as required.
