About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you'll support pupils aged 4–19 with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD and attention-related difficulties
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
• Sensory and physical disabilities

Your Responsibilities

✔️ Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs

✔️ Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

✔️ Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

✔️ Support pupils' academic, emotional, and social development

✔️ Implement behaviour support strategies and personalised learning plans

✔️ Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, teaching assistants, and wider school staff

✔️ Promote independence, confidence, and achievement in every learner

Who We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from candidates who:

• Hold (or are due to obtain) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Are completing or have recently completed their teacher training
• Have a genuine passion for inclusive education
• Are patient, resilient, and adaptable
• Want to develop specialist SEN knowledge and experience
• Are available Monday to Friday during school hours
• Hold, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
