We are hiring a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, growing independent team in Swindon. Your Day-to-Day
Working in our Swindon workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety health checks, logbook updates, and general mechanical repairs.
- Use up-to-date diagnostic tools and computerized scanners to efficiently troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Deliver high-quality, "first-time fix" results across a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Work productively alongside a skilled, down-to-earth team of motor mechanics to keep the workshop operating safely and smoothly.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Credentials: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent).
- The Experience: A proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic in a professional workshop setting.
- The Mindset: A reliable, self-motivated professional with a great attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and your own tools.
- The Basics: A full UK driving licence is essential. Having an active MOT Tester licence is a great bonus!
