Job description
Are you passionate about creating comforting, homely meals that brighten someones day? Do you want to use your skills in a role where your work truly matters? If so, wed love to welcome you to our Housing with Care team. Were looking for a dedicated Cook who will help us provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment where our customers can live well. Youll be part of a friendly, collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality careand great food. Cook East Belfast Mount Merrion & Bloomfield area. Various contracts available from 12 37 hours. £13.45 per hour A bit about us We are one of NIs leading providers of high-quality housing and support housing services and our aim is to make a real difference to the lives of the people living in our homes. What youll be doing Preparing nutritious, homely meals tailored to the needs of our residents Supporting menu planning and contributing ideas for varied, enjoyable dishes Completing essential compliance and food safety checks Helping us maintain a welcoming, well-run kitchen environment A bit about you NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality or City & Guilds equivalent Or at least 2 years experience working in a kitchen or catering environment. It would be great if you also have: A Basic Food Hygiene certificate Knowledge of older peoples dietary needs or menu planning You must also be able to communicate verbally in English with our residents.
