TPF Recruitment is working with a highly respected and growing independent accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Senior or Audit Semi Senior for their thriving audit and accounts team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious auditor looking to develop their career within a leading UK accountancy practice gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of SME businesses owner managed companies charities and corporate clients.

Whether youre an ACA or ACCA part qualified Audit Semi Senior looking to progress or an experienced Audit Senior seeking more responsibility and client exposure this role offers genuine career progression excellent training and a supportive team environment.

Audit Senior / Audit Semi Senior Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior or Audit Semi Senior your duties will include:
  • Planning and delivering audit assignments for a varied client portfolio
  • Leading audit fieldwork both on site and remotely
  • Preparing audit files and working papers
  • Performing substantive and analytical audit testing
  • Identifying audit risks and reporting key findings
  • Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
  • Assisting with audit completion and finalisation
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior auditors where appropriate
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees and junior team members
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners on complex assignments

Requirements

Audit Senior / Audit Semi Senior

Were looking for candidates with experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.

Audit Semi Senior
  • AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified
  • Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
  • Experience working with SME and owner managed business clients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ambition to progress within audit and assurance
Audit Senior
  • ACA or ACCA qualified finalist or qualified by experience
  • Strong audit and accounts experience within practice
  • Experience leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Ability to supervise junior staff and review work
  • Excellent client facing and relationship management skills
