The school has already made strong progress with staff laptops, interactive classroom technology and Microsoft-based systems, but they are now looking for the right person to take their network, cloud infrastructure and wider IT strategy to the next level.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the school's IT function, managing day-to-day network and helpdesk operations, supporting the move towards cloud-based Microsoft 365 systems, and helping develop a long-term technology roadmap. You will also play a key role in shaping the future IT team, including helping recruit and support an additional IT Technician.The ideal candidate will have strong network management experience and a good understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud migration, infrastructure and IT support. Experience in a school or education environment would be highly beneficial, but candidates from wider industry backgrounds will also be considered if they have the right technical knowledge and motivation to move into a meaningful, long-term role.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than a standard support role.
