Job description
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can take ownership, work autonomously, and become the go-to HR expert on site? We are currently recruiting for an HR Adviser to join our client’s site in East Lothian. This is a standalone HR role based at a key operational site offering the opportunity to take the lead on all day-to-day HR activities while being supported by a wider HR team based at another site. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships across the business, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking for a role with genuine autonomy and responsibility. You'll have the freedom to manage HR matters locally, influence decision-making, and play a key role in supporting both managers and employees across the site. No two days will be the same. You'll be the trusted HR partner on site, providing practical and commercially focused advice while ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation. The Role As HR Adviser, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and responsive HR service across the site, supporting managers with a wide range of employee relations and people management matters. You will act as the first point of contact for all HR-related issues, helping to create a positive employee experience while ensuring business objectives are achieved.
