Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Plymouth that is looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive impact on their learning, confidence and development.
The Role
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in Years 1 and 2 both in class and through small group activities
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
- Provide one-to-one support where required
- Help pupils develop key literacy and numeracy skills
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Assist with preparing resources and maintaining a safe learning environment
- Support children’s social and emotional development
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting
- Be patient, caring and enthusiastic
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be confident supporting children with a range of learning needs
- Be committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
- Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
