Job description
Kinetic are supporting a well-established and growing manufacturing business in St Helens with the recruitment of a PERMANENT Powder Coater / Paint Line Technician.You will be part of a successful group specialising in bespoke equipment for the telecoms networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced business during an exciting period of investment and expansion. You will help produce high-quality powder-coated components to exact customer specifications, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before moving to the next stage of manufacturing. On offer is a Permanent Position, Competitive Salary of £26,793.00, attractive hours and a great place to work! As the Permanent Powder Coater / Paint Line Technician you will be tasked with: *Powder coating of components. *Ensure the correct operation of the paint line to set procedures. *Operate handheld powder coating guns along the automatic line. *Preparation and masking of parts to be painted. *Inspection, analysis, and documentation of powder coated products in line with specification. *Correct loading, unloading and inspection of items on and off the paint line. *Correct handling and storage of materials. *Correct hanging of items to be painted, using hooks and jigs to maximize efficiency. *Masking items to drawings and specifications before they enter the painting process. *Safely moving parts in and out of the department. *Maintain good housekeeping practices. *Adherence to all Health and Safety procedures. We are looking for reliable, motivated Powder Coaters who are very much team players and who take pride in producing high-quality work. We also need you to have: * Previous powder coating or paint plant experience * Able to read and understand technical drawings * Ability to interpret job tickets * A positive attitude and strong work ethic * Flexibility and willingness to learn * Good attention to detail * Excellent communication skills * Strong communication skills This is a permanent role which also offer: * £26,793.00PA * Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm, Friday 7am to 12:30pm * 37.5 per week * Stable Expanding company We need people who can get to St Helens with ease, WANT to work and that can start as soon as possible.
