The Creative Industries School at Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised individual to teach fashion design, techniques and processes. Youll deliver exciting and industry relevant skills and knowledge to students on our popular practical vocational courses.
As our Art & Design (Fashion and Textiles) Lecturer, youll be familiar with relevant machines and tools and support the safe use of these in classrooms and specialist workshops. Youll also possess a broad understanding of past, current, and future design trends and be able to support students in developing their knowledge of the design cycle, garment design, specialist skills and industry understanding.
Wed like you to hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards), be recognised as a good or outstanding teacher and hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification/s in an area relevant to the job role specialism. Youll have experience of effectively monitoring and supporting learners to achieve or exceed their potential with a strong commitment to personalised learning, equality and diversity, and safeguarding.
With good understanding of applicable Health and Safety procedures and practices in classrooms and workshops, youll have good industry knowledge to support work experience and industry placements that are integral to ...
