\n We are currently recruiting for the following permanent role, this would suit an Electrical Supervisor looking to make the next move upwards or equally an established Electrical Project Manager capable of managing small but fast track commercial projects. \n
\n
Required: Electrical Project/Contracts Manager\n
\n Office Location: Newton Abbot area\n
\n Salary: circa £60k p/a\n
\n Additional information: End of year performance related bonus (typically £4-5k) | Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) Bonus | Car Allowance/Company Car | Company Pension.\n
\nHoliday: Initially 22days & 8 Bank Holidays, additional 3 days accumulated over 3 years.\n
\n
Job Role:\n
\n To manage Electrical projects within the region across the commercial, healthcare & education sectors; project values typically range from £250k to £1m in Electrical services. \n
\n
Duties:\n
\n Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, and client expectations are consistently met.\n
\n Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain accurate internal/external reporting.\n
\n Engage clients for design feedback and approval submissions.\n
\n Plan programmes of work with the client contacts, establishing milestones and deliverables.\n
\n Monitor financial control, including variations, and keep accurate budget records.\n
\n Procure labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment within budget.\n
\nPrepare detailed work instructions and ensure installation teams are fully briefed.\n
\n Conduct audits on site activities and suppliers, raising and mitigating non-conformances.\n
\n Undertake final quality audits and submit accurate documentation for client approval.\n
\n Promote and enforce a culture of Health, Safety & Quality across all project activities.\n
\n Represent the company professionally, supporting repeat business opportunities.\n
\n Provide photographs and documentation for case studies and client satisfaction reviews.\n
\n Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.\n
\n \n
Essential Qualifications:\n
\n CSCS Card (ideally ECS Gold or Black version)\n
\n Electrical qualifications\n
\n SSSTS or SMSTS (or willing to complete the 2 or 5 days courses)\n
\n Full Driving Licence\n
\n \n
Relevant/required Experience & Skills:\n
\n Previous experience of working as an Electrical Supervisor or ideally as a Project Manager on commercial projects.\n
\n Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to forward plan.\n
\n Confident decision-maker, capable of working under pressure. \n
\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively at all levels.\n
\n Ability to coordinate site activities and ensure safety for all personnel\n
\n \n

\n Established for over 20years, based in the Southwest they employ over 40 direct staff along with sub-contractors. The business has a long-standing client base and typically T/o is £12m p/a working on commercial, industrial, education, retail and healthcare sectors of construction. \n
